Holzer Hospital Foundation Growth Noted at Gallipolis Lions Night
Dr. Charles E. Holzer Jr. described the Holzer Hospital Foundation and Clinic to 47 at Gallipolis Lions Club. Residents and a bank raised 50 000 dollars to establish the first hospital at 507 Second Ave in 1910. The hospital expanded with new wings in 1920 and 1929 and became a foundation in 1929.
