Racine Social Notes Highlight Local Visits and Hummingbird Fact
The Racine Brief Social Notes for May 15, 1941 recount visits and family happenings in Racine and nearby towns. Bobbie Cleland's hospitalization in St Joseph Hospital Parkersburg is noted alongside gatherings with the Fadely and Watson families, ministerial meetings, and weekend trips to Athens Pomeroy and Charleston. A domestic fact closes the note describing the hummingbird tongue as a tube like straw for nectar.
