State Police Arrest Four in Point Pleasant Area
State police arrested Robert Thomas of Route 1 Point Pleasant on a wife signed warrant for brandishing a shotgun. Howard Vanmeter of West Columbia Vinton Smith of Hartford and William Dale of Glenwood were also arrested for intoxication. William Lockwood of Lakin was jailed on parole violation from the state hospital.

Flora Blanche Thomas died of a heart attack at 12 25 a m Sunday at her granddaughter’s home in Point Pleasant She was born January 3 1880 in Mason County daughter of Oscar and Melinda McDermitt Greer She leaves two sons Byron of Leon and Gaylord of Point Pleasant three grandchildren four great grandchildren and is survived by relatives Funeral services set for Tuesday at 2 p m at Trinity EUB Church with burial in Greer Cemetery Crow Funeral Home handling arrangements.

Two Funerals For 93YearOld Robert Keefer Planned
Robert Milroy Keefer 93 of Leon dies after a long illness. Funeral services are set at the Church of Christ in Christian Union with Rev. J R Keefer and at Bethel Church near Arbuckle with Rev. Harold Martin. He was born December 27 1864 in Mason County and leaves seven children, 46 grandchildren, 107 great grandchildren and other relatives. Burial is in Bethel Church Cemetery.

Episcopal Youth Fellowship Hosts Gallipolis and St Albans
The Christ Church Episcopal Youth Fellowship hosted guests from St Peters Gallipolis and All Saints South Charleston. An evening included a sermon by John Heiskell, prayers by Butch Heiskell and Butch Walters, a minstrel skit, and lessons by Mary Ann Somerville and Mary Jeffries. After a Tu Endie Wei Park tour, a buffet lunch followed at the parish house with games supervised by adults.

John J. Hoschar Rites Held Today at Mason
Funeral services for John J. Hoschar of West Columbia were conducted at 2 p.m. at the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Mason with Rev. Roscoe Thorne officiating. Burial followed in Rema Cemetery, West Columbia. He was born February 21, 1891, the son of Benjamin and Virginia Vanmeter Hoschar, and died Saturday at his home. He is survived by one brother, Frank Hoschar of Middleport.
