Unmarked 1962 Sheriff Cruiser to Aid Department
Sheriff Harold Shields notes unmarked cars help in undercover work and reduce notoriety for mental patient transports. The new black cruiser carries a two way radio, police pack, heavy springs, extra‑thick upholstery, and a high amp alternator to combat battery drain. State rules allow multiple unmarked cars if not used for traffic only.
