Rio Grande President to Speak at New High School Commencement
Dr Alphus R Christensen president of Rio Grande College will address the first commencement of Federal Hocking High School on May 21 at 8 pm in Stewart Ohio The address titled Now Christensen inaugurated as Rio Grande president in 1963 has presided over enrollment growth from 398 in 1962 to 812 currently A South Dakota State University graduate he also attended Augustana College Northwestern University and the University of Minnesota Bursa Turkey noted as the first capital of the Ottoman Empire.
