Trial date in Buckley shooting case delayed
Gerald M. Buckley 54 of Sayre pleads not guilty to shooting neighbor Charles Reed Jr. 35 in Common Pleas Court New Lexington. Judge A.S. McGonagle indefinitely continues the trial until after the current school term. Reed not seriously wounded. Shirley Griffith sustains head injury requiring four stitches from a baseball bat blow. St Aloysius Academy track team places fifth at Bellville Carnival. Terry O Hare wins two caps with broad jump and 180 low hurdles first, plus second in 220 yard dash.
