Residents vent over low prices in UK renewal project
Monday night hearings exposed continued complaints about undervalued houses in the South Green Urban Renewal area. Residents urged fair market prices, cited losses of 4 000 to 7 700 dollars, and questioned appraisal methods tied to Ohio University. Officials defended procedures, noted no condemnations yet, and projected completion by October 1968 with all properties to be purchased by January.
