May 13 is Mother’s Day tribute and memory nudge
A nostalgic note celebrates Mother’s Day on May 13 with a history of a 1913 Congress decision to honor moms on the second Sunday in May. The piece urges daily kindness, joking about balance of the 364 days. A Louisiana woman’s arrest for cashing two self drawn checks is touched on as a local oddity. An ad promotes wallpaper at RAPP'S WALL PAPER & PAINT STORE with full range and prices.
