Lewis James Dies at Home of Brother in Millfield
Lewis James died Friday night at 6 o'clock at his brother John James's home on North Lancaster Street after 18 months there. He was born on the Millfield home farm in 1850 and attended the School for the Deaf in Columbus before graduating. He lived in Washington, D C for two years before returning to manage the Millfield farm until his heart failed. He leaves a large family including brothers John James and John Wesley James, Henry James, and sisters Nancy Linscott and Litha Heathley.
