Man Of Year Finalists Rally For School Levy Support
Three finalists for Man of the Year advocate support for a local school levy. Brundige, a middle school teacher, cites education as essential for community benefit. Mollica, a city lawyer, argues teachers are underpaid and local taxes should fund schools. Nitzschke backs the current tax system as best available, stressing education priorities. Grover reports $2.06 campaign cost with $1,400 raised to fund ads and mailings by a large volunteer effort.
