GI Bill Education Deadline Set for Veterans

Most veterans will not be allowed to begin after that date, with exceptions for those discharged after July 25, 1947 and those who enlisted or reenlisted under the Armed Forces Voluntary Recruitment Act. General training must start by July 25, 1951 or four years after discharge, whichever is later, and finish by July 25, 1956. Those already pursuing GI Bill training on July 25, 1951 may continue.
