Hocking Tech Seen as Rapidly Growing College in Ohio

Hocking Technical College near Nelsonville, described as the most rapidly developing school in the state by Dean James Patrick, has grown from 260 students in 1968 to over 1,000 last fall. The two year college earned accreditation and features strong programs in natural science, law enforcement, and ceramic engineering. A new campus is planned with a 1974 opening funded by a Board of Regents grant, expanding the vocational high school and expanding Athens High School's program.
