Festival Spotlight Picasso NET Festival honors Chicago sculpture
NET presents The Chicago Picasso Greatness in the Making a Tuesday 8:30 pm on Channel 26. The hour long program features analysis by Sir Roland Penrose and covers a 65 year span of Picasso sculpture culminating in Chicago's outdoor work at Civic Center Plaza. It traces the four year project from design to funding to construction with insights from William Hartmann of Skidmore Owings Merrill and photographs by Jacqueline Picasso.
