Cincinnati detectives found 80 veterans' compensation checks worth 4000 dollars in the possession of 31 year old C W Summers a Canadian. Summers admitted robbing apartment mail boxes in Cincinnati authorities said.
A six tube radio was stolen from the East Side School last night. Entry was gained by breaking a door glass and unlocking it from the inside, according to police.

Corn planters wheat growers truck gardeners and cattlemen attended a convention called by the National Farm Bank Holiday Association which hopes by a threat of starving out the nations cities to force immediate farm relief. As delegates gathered more than 100 Iowa farmers were under military arrest in the northern part of the state accused of rioting in protest against mortgage foreclosures.
