More than 270 Athens students will perform at the Athens City Schools All Band Concert on Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Athens High School Auditorium. Fifth through twelfth graders from East, West, Morrison-Gordon, The Plains, and Athens Middle School will play pieces ranging from Hard Rock Blues to Armada and New World Symphony. The high school groups will close with Dusk, O Clock Mix, Charm, Satin Doll, and Jive at Five. Proceeds benefit band music programs.
