Funds Sought By 648 Board Family Planning Program

Hocking County commissioners hear from Jane Ergood and George Kennedy of Family Planning of Southeast Ohio about services across seven counties. The group, funded by Appalachian Regional Commission via Ohio Valley Health Services Foundation, serves women at no cost with education, cancer tests, contraception, prenatal referrals, infertility help, and clinics in Logan and Athens. They worry about losing office space as CAA must vacate, and tensions with CAA and its leader Roger McCauley are noted.
