Viet Airlift Resumes as Troops and POWs Return

Last 32 American POWs Freed From Hanoi

The final group of 27 military personnel and five civilians was released and flown to Clark Air Base Philippines. Col. Benjamin H. Purcell praised freedom and thanked President Nixon as the last 32 Americans returned from captivity amid ongoing troop withdrawal discussions. Lt. Cmdr. Phillip A. Noel Coward Dies in Jamaica At 73

The famed playwright Noel Coward died of a coronary thrombosis at his Jamaica home near Port Maria.
