Tubercular Boy Returned to His Mother in Mt Vernon
Wendle seven year old Wendle son of Mrs Eugene Wendle was returned from the Mt Vernon state sanitarium in splendid condition. He had been sent there by the Athens county commissioners after his father was sent to the state penitentiary for liquor possession and the boy was left with no funds. A county nurse brought him home healthy.
