4-H On Parade Promotes Local Arts at Athens Armory
Four Athens women and groups Sputterpop Dancers and Players bring professionalism to the Athens Armory event on March 31. The Sputterpop troupe blends music drama and dance in a four part piece based on the 4-H Pledge head heart hands health. The one act play The In Group explores clash of inactive and active youth.

Ohio Health Director Dr. John W. Cashman signed contracts for two nursing home personnel training centers in Newark and New Philadelphia under a one year HEW grant. Five centers are planned with a $130000 total grant. Each center offers free short term courses from six to 30 hours for area nursing home staff.
