Washington report says 175000 in Liberty bonds stolen from the Treasury have been recovered. James A. Clevenger 25 a Treasury bond department clerk and A O Walmsley organizer of the Forester fraternal organization were arrested. Bonds found in Clevenger’s attic and Walmsley captured at Charlottesville. Clevenger confessed and said the theft occurred two months ago.
