Pigeon Hole Parking Plan Hears Committee Probe In Athens
A five man committee opened study on a proposed off street pigeon hole parking structure in Athens. The project would be funded by private enterprise or municipal cooperation with possible site locations and a preliminary survey costing two percent of installation, refundable or credited depending on results. The plan envisions 44 stalls with 25 cents for the first hour, 10 cents for the second, and five cents for each additional hour, to be built and operated under a 20 year concession with 6 percent investors guaranteed return.
