Woman Dies In Auto Fire In Ohio
CHILLICOTHE, O March 18 A 47 year old woman Myrtle Watles of Five Points Pickaway County was cremated in a blazing automobile on Brimstone Road in Hocking County three miles south of Laurelville Ross County. The driver Jesse Riley 38 Five Points garage man was badly burned as he fought through the top of the car. He said gasoline leaking inside the car ignited and the vehicle left the road plunging into Brimstone Creek. Riley escaped and extinguished his clothing then tried to reach Mrs Watles but could not approach the burning car. He was treated at a local home and later Berger Hospital Circleville. Riley is divorced and lives with Mrs Watles and his son.
