Nelsonville death killer Mills sentenced to 27 years

Taylor Allen Mills, 23, of Nelsonville, accepted a plea in Athens County Common Pleas Court for involuntary manslaughter with a gun specification and other charges. He faces 27 years and six months in prison for the 2015 death of Tim Koker outside The Mine Tavern. Andrea Conner delivered a victim impact statement, saying Chase Koker’s life was forever altered and that Mills will spend decades in prison.

Menards project eyed in Athens with about 150 jobs

Menards plans a 212,671 square foot store with a 48,969 square foot warehouse and a materials yard on land bought from East State Street Development and adjacent Ed Renzelli property.
