H K Holcomb reads paper to college Y M C A comparing Christianity with other faiths. County board of school examiners, presided by Prof Dunkle, tightens rules. no certificate below 60 in any subject. Last April exam at Glouster, May at Nelsonville. April and May exams under Boxwell law for high school admissions from common schools.
Special services start next Monday night. Attendance at the C E Bible study Wednesday night is encouraging. Mrs Susan Putnam has been ill about two weeks, threatened with pneumonia.
