Leaders of the United Rubber Workers said a negotiating committee would make a recommendation before a secret ballot at the meeting.
James Bambrick, leader of the building workers strike, asked Father Charles Coughlin to publicize charges that federal money is used to crush the strike. Doctors say prompt action likely saved him from death by bleeding.
