Photographer William H. Shupe of the Columbus Dispatch was shoved threatened and a film holder stolen in front of State Auditor Joseph T. Fergusons home Tuesday. He had photographed a state owned car at the residence which the Dispatch linked to Fergusons Florida vacation with his daughter and son.
A waitress tip launched a daylong search for Frederick J. Tenuto wanted for questioning in Arnold Schuster’s slaying. Tenuto was spotted via newspaper identification after entering a restaurant near the Southern Pacific depot. Police withheld names of the waitress and restaurant amid ongoing investigation. Earlier, Schuster was killed near his Brooklyn home. he had earlier pointed Sutton to police on Feb. 18. A separate note: Case Institute of Technology will run a six week summer economics course for 50 college teachers to study industry and commerce.
