New Ames Bern Rural District Formed In Athens County
The Athens County Board of Education created the Ames Bern Rural School District by dissolving the Amesville and Bern Township districts. A bond issue for a new Ames Bern High School will be on March 15 and, if approved, a charter issued and the new school built. The district’s organizing vote is scheduled for March 15 with a full board election. The new district takes effect March 25.
