The move followed the reading of the presidential message and was approved without a record vote amid protests by longtime bonus supporters.
In Toledo Ohio a banking panic spurs a gold rush as at least 25000 in gold coins and certificates are withdrawn in 24 hours. A woman rushed a bank tomorrow, showed 800 in gold coins to the teller and cried I do not want to be classed as a criminal. She exchanged the gold for other currency.
