Commissioners balk at paying added share of study costs
Athens County Commissioners tabled an agreement with Ohio University and the city of Athens to hire Ayers Saint Gross Architecture for a $47,000 feasibility study, plus expenses, over a clause requiring cost increases to be shared in proportion to the original fees. OU would pay $27,000, while the city and county each commit $10,000. Commissioner Lenny Eliason opposed the as-written memorandum.
