Sportsmen Propose Law Changes in Meigs County Meeting
At the courthouse meeting Tracy Whaley announced three resolutions to be taken to the district conservationists in Waverly next month. They seek hunting hours to dusk, limit possum seasons to 15 days, and run the grouse season with the rabbit season. Whaley cited up to 40 raccoons taken in a season and said such practices defeat releasing game. If favored at district and state levels, the changes could become law.
