Sewer Contract Controversy In Pomeroy Withheld Funds
POMEROY Village solicitor Fred W. Crow Jr told Council that any payment to Universal Concrete Pipe Co beyond the contracted 58 439.30 would be illegal and could jeopardize the contract. Former Mayor Canaday refused to return 227.13 held in a local bank, while Mayor Spencer faced questions over 1000 spent on office improvements.
