River Ferry Service May Resume By Weekend
Officials of the Ohio Towing Company say the 15 car ferry may be back in operation by the weekend after the Hustler broke down Monday night. An 8 car ferry is in service from Henderson landing to Kanauga, and plans include using a twin engine craft from Cincinnati to haul an additional 8 car barge. The company will add another 15 car ferry soon, with two 1 car and two 8 car ferries easing the wait as many as 50 cars queued previously on both riverbanks.
