Twins Rescued From Flooded Car On Route 50
Two Point Pleasant brothers, Harry and Glenn Molenski, trapped in rising water on Route 50 at Raccoon Creek, were rescued by James Darst Sr and Jr, and Hurtel Ratless after spending the night atop their seats. The twins, beauticians in Athens, were rescued about 11 p.m. Tuesday as floodwaters climbed. The area faced widespread outages and school closures as Athens University and city services moved to higher ground.
