The Athens County Teachers Institute held in Nelsonville on February 28 was a complete success with most listed presenters contributing. A resolutions committee thanked Nelsonville residents Supt Coultrap and area teachers, Ohio University professors Evans and Dunkle, Supt Wheaton, and others for their hospitality and instruction. The institute adjourned to meet March 28 at Amesville. L A Russell served as president and Carrie Goodrich as secretary.
