Crown City Man Sought For Violating Draft Rules
Gallia County Selective Service Board named Carl Edward Shawver Crown City Route 1 as a possible draft violator for failing to respond to notices and to appear for induction. The board seeks cooperation in locating Shawver as the case may proceed with U S attorney involvement. The second item notes a Tuesday low of 19 degrees at the official station in Gallipolis.

Man Collapses in Courthouse Hall During Visit
Prestley Lee of 8 Spruce Street collapsed Tuesday morning in the upstairs hall of the Gallipolis courthouse. He was moved to Holer Hospital after visiting relief director Mrs Abbie Haner who had prepared a taxi fare. He collapsed before the taxi could arrive.
