Charleston Youth Faces Murder Charge in Ohio Case
Alonzo William Thompson of Charleston West Virginia is charged with first degree murder for the slaying of Patrolman Lawrence Soring during a holdup. He allegedly confessed after hours of questioning, aided by a bloodstained coat traced from Charleston. Thompson was arrested at his home after the coat’s origin was established.
