American Relief for Korea Inc formed in April 1951 announces funds exhausted and operations will stop July 1. It shipped 24,484,130 pounds of clothing, about 65 percent of all clothing sent to Korea from the free world. After closing, relief donations will be handled by 13 member agencies.

Missing Man Found Former Gallia Resident

George Jenkins 76 formerly of 810 Fourth Avenue Gallipolis was found in Chicago after being missing since May 14. Chief Chester Leaper said Jenkins was unconscious in a Chicago hospital then regained consciousness on Monday. A daughter lives in Chicago.

430 Are Expected To Die on Roads Over 4th Holiday

The National Safety Council warned the upcoming July 4 weekend could bring the worst traffic crisis in history with about 430 fatalities. It forecasts over 40 million cars on U.S. highways and urges drivers to exercise extra caution to prevent wrecks.

The Taipeh United Daily News claims Chiang Kai-shek and Gen. James A. Van Fleet tentatively agreed on a mutual defense pact linking Nationalist China and the United States. Dynamite Blast Damaged Car in Washington NC

Police said two sticks of dynamite placed under a car hood caused extensive damage yesterday in Washington North Carolina. The blast shattered the vehicle front end and nearby windows, dug a deep hole, and hurled motor parts about 25 feet. Suspects unknown, and 17 year old Jibe Key slept through it in the back seat.
