Emile Weaver, 21, a former Muskingum University student, was sentenced to life in prison without parole for aggravated murder abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence. She gave birth in the Delta Gamma Theta sorority house on April 22, 2015 and killed the newborn by placing her in a trash bag outside the sorority. Weaver testified she denied the pregnancy and believed the baby was dead. The judge denied parole eligibility, rejecting her request for 20 years.
