May permits in Athens total $108 770 with seven new homes started the most since last June. Five home permits went to Texas Pastern Transmission Corp. for five 12 000 dollar houses on Eden Place. Other permits issued include projects for Church of Nazarene 20 000 dollars at 59 Graham Drive and homes for Anna Thomas 11 500 dollars at 43 Second Street, plus various remodeling and repair jobs across the city.
