A three day workshop for adults and youth conducted by the American Lutheran Church youth department gathered nearly 30 visitors from Cleveland Columbus Hamilton Fremont and other Ohio cities at St Matthew Lutheran Church Logan.Participants discussed three areas of ministry with local officials and TRAP program leaders and presented proposals to the congregation without action.

Logan county Red Cross program chief Audrey Townsend says five youths and teens completed the Swimmer Aide Class to assist tutoring at the City Pool this summer. Certificates went to Sue Murray Sandy Narde Louise Hawk Ruth Wilkinson and Margie Hunsaker. Other teens attended. minimum age for certification was 18.
