In Ganado Arizona a Navajo seven year old, Nazabeth Lee, fell from a fence and after both lungs paralyzed doctors ordered manual respiration by nurses. Albert and Golden Farr drove 700 miles to bring an iron lung from Phoenix while Dr. Salisbury and three nurses maintained manual respiration for 14 hours. The child rested after the lung began functioning and doctors expect a good chance of recovery.
