Vacation School Closes In Nelsonville Attended by 250
The Nelsonville Ministerial Association-sponsored Vacation School ends at noon Friday with over 250 children attending. Rev. Rollin S. Polk and Rev. J. A. Long led the program at East and Central buildings, assisted by staff. A 7:30 p.m. Sunday service in the Christian Church marks the first in a summer union series. certificates will honor regular attendees. Public invited.

John Coleman near Nelsonville pleaded guilty to intoxication at arraignment before Mayor Earl Hilleary. He was fined $10 and costs. James Beougher of Logan was cited to appear June 25 in mayor's court for failing to observe a stop sign.

Primmer Returns From Monroe Visit and Niece Wedding

Tyo Pitches Two-Hitter for Nelsonville Seniors
Whitey Tyo tossed a two hit game as Nelsonville beat New Marshfield 7 to 1 at City Playgrounds Twilight League. Tyo went 3-for-3 with a homer a double and a single. Miller and Hartley added doubles. Nelsonville totaled 10 hits, scoring four in the second, one in the third, and two in the fifth. New Marshfield scored one in the fifth.
