Pomeroy gears for a gala three day Big Bend Regatta with opening ceremonies at 12 30 hosted by State Representative Ralph Welker. parade runs from Middleport to downtown Pomeroy, trophies and cash prizes awarded, Frog Jumping contest under the tent, Regatta Rhythm Review and a Teen dance. Saturday and Sunday feature boat races ski shows and a beauty pageant with free parking and advance ticket sales on Main Street.
