Dr Meno Lovenstein newly elected chairman of the Ohio Council on Economic Education will be academic director and lecturer at the Advanced Workshop on Economic Education at Ohio University. The 17th annual program runs June 24 to July 12 for teachers and administrators with prior workshop experience.

Congress OKs More Athens Flood Funds
The House approved an additional 34 950 000 for the Athens flood control project bringing total appropriations to the 2 200 000 authorized last year. The work covers relocation of the Hocking River and widening along Route 50 E to Athens and Ohio University. Construction bids are expected late August with funds split between federal and local sources. Miller urged approval citing repeated flood damages.

Four Seek Injunction Against City Over Street Work
Four residents led by George A Banks Mildred Banks Carolyn Roberts Hall and Virginia Roberts Brown filed in Common Pleas Court Thursday for an injunction against Alflens city.
