At a two hour session Tuesday Hocking Valley Community Hospital board, medical records staff, nurses and technicians reviewed issues with laboratory charges. Sterling Lewis and others described bills for lab work not tied to doctors orders, prompting audit findings of 17 percent irregularities. Lewis offered refunds for unsubstantiated charges per a letter to the board.
