Gallipolis reports a 10 year old, Barton Caldwell, lost the thumb and two fingers of his right hand after striking a dynamite cap with a stone. The caps were found by Caldwell and two other boys in Francis Stover’s barn. Stover, a former highway employee, had hidden the caps there to prevent discovery.
