Building the Brain by Layered Evolution Model
The nervous system is the most intricate structure and a physician must grasp its design. Dr. Adolph Meyer developed a method tracing brain functions via layered evolution. At New York University and Cornell, students create a brain model from serial section drawings and construction stages, using a manual and two atlases. the process takes about 50 hours and yields a permanent reference for study.
