New Gas Rate Contract Discussed in Nelsonville
Nelsonville officials study a proposed Ohio Fuel Gas Company rate contract that would raise consumer costs by just over three percent. The structure sets 30 cents per 1000 cubic feet for initial usage, with tiered charges for higher usage and a $3 minimum monthly fee. A fuel cost clause remains, based on 33.52 cents per 1000 cubic feet. The current rate expires September 22.
