United Appeals in Athens Adopts By-Laws and Names
Athens trustees approved by-laws and the United Appeals of Athens name at a meeting, setting 7 30 p m July 6 for a session inviting 10 agencies including Red Cross Scouts Girl Scouts Salvation Army YMCA Muscular Dystrophy Mental Hygiene and Polio Heart and Cancer to supply regulations and join the drive. The steering committee appointed representatives from civic groups to shape a unified fund raising drive with provisions for officers meetings and committees.
