Mason County Civil Defense Op receives alert training
Mason County civil defense directors and staff studied the national CD setup and identified program shortcomings during a 11 am to 1 am alert. Local assistants Virgil Siders and H H Harmon led Mason County participation while Frank Haught served with the National Guard in Kentucky. The exercise included mock operations with fire departments and state coordination in Charleston.
